The ViaTerra Shifter Short Leather Motorcycle Riding Gloves are designed for riders who want substantial hand protection in a compact short-cuff format. Suitable for urban commuting, weekend rides and touring, the Shifter combines thick full-grain goatskin leather with dedicated impact and slide protection. The leather is approximately 1.2 to 1.5 mm thick, providing abrasion resistance while remaining supple enough for comfortable motorcycle control. CE Level 2 knuckle protectors provide impact protection across the knuckle area, supported by dual foam layers underneath and across the back of the hand for comfort. Full-wrap Knox SPS 404 palm sliders combine Micro-Lock armour internally with abrasion-resistant LDPE externally to help protect the scaphoid area. PVC protectors and memory foam padding provide additional protection around the fingers and wrist. Perforated leather and strategically positioned finger air inlets promote airflow in warm riding conditions. Floating knuckles, stretch sections and large accordion panels allow natural finger movement while operating the clutch and brake. Silicone SuperGrip improves control at the handlebars. Conductive leather on the thumb and index fingertips of both hands enables touchscreen use. A soft visor wiper on the left glove provides additional convenience during wet rides, while the Velcro wrist closure with Lycra gusset supports a secure and comfortable fit.
