SMK describes the Typhoon as a compact aerodynamic helmet aimed at sports tourers and daily commuters. Its construction uses two outer shell sizes together with a multi-density EPS impact liner to provide an appropriate fit across the helmet size range. The dual visor configuration combines a scratch-resistant clear outer visor with an easy-to-use internal sun visor for changing daylight conditions. The main visor is Pinlock 70 ready and uses a quick-release mechanism for easier removal and maintenance. Ventilation is provided through chin and top air vents connected to channelled air intakes and exhausts, helping circulate air through the helmet during longer rides. Inside, the breathable hypoallergenic comfort liner incorporates moisture-management antistatic fabric and can be removed and washed.
