Rynox CERROS Zero-G Tail Bone Protector

The Rynox CERROS Zero-G Tail Bone Protector is designed to add dedicated impact protection around the rider's tailbone area when installed in compatible motorcycle protective riding apparel. Developed and manufactured in India, the protector uses CERROS' proprietary Zero-G formula, which combines flexibility, shape memory and a lightweight structure. The material allows the protector to bend and move with the rider's body while retaining its original shape, helping reduce restriction during normal motorcycle riding movements. CERROS states that the indigenously developed Zero-G technology makes the protector approximately 25% lighter than comparable alternatives, helping minimise unnecessary bulk when fitted inside protective riding apparel. Riding comfort is further supported by three strategically positioned ventilation openings. These vents allow air to move through the protector, helping reduce body heat build-up, disperse moisture and regulate temperature during longer rides and warm riding conditions. The TB1 uses a symmetric configuration specifically developed for protection around the tailbone area. Helmet Racing lists the protector as compatible with Rynox riding pants, making it a useful addition to suitable pants equipped with a dedicated tailbone-protector pocket. Compatibility should still be checked before installation to ensure the protector fits correctly and remains securely positioned while riding. The official CERROS technical specifications currently do not assign a CE standard or numerical protection level to the TB1.
