Quad Lock Universal Adaptor V3

The Quad Lock Universal Adaptor V3 provides a convenient way to use the Quad Lock mounting ecosystem with compatible smartphones and cases that do not have a dedicated Quad Lock case available. The adaptor attaches directly to a suitable surface using 3M VHB 4952 high-bond adhesive and incorporates Quad Lock's secure twist-lock mounting interface. Once installed, the device can connect with compatible Quad Lock twist-lock mounts, heads and accessories for motorcycle and other mounting applications. The Original Universal Adaptor has a compact 48 × 60 mm footprint and measures only 5 mm thick, helping maintain a slim profile on the back of the device. At approximately 6 grams, it adds minimal weight. Quad Lock specifies a TPU and polycarbonate composite construction for durability. Correct surface compatibility is essential for secure installation. The adhesive is designed for smooth, non-textured and non-porous surfaces such as compatible plastics and non-painted metals. It should not be applied to materials such as rubber, TPU, leather or silicone. Quad Lock has tested the Universal Adaptor with suitable devices weighing up to 300 grams. The 3M adhesive is single-use, so the adaptor cannot be transferred and reapplied after removal. Wireless charging performance may also be affected after installation.
