During an unexpected fall or crash, the sliders are intended to become an initial contact point, helping absorb and distribute impact forces before they are transferred directly to the crash guard and motorcycle frame. Moto Torque's X-Protect design is engineered to provide improved sliding characteristics compared with conventional sliders, helping reduce snagging and allowing impact forces to be managed more effectively during a slide. Each slider is manufactured from durable high-grade polypropylene, providing a combination of strength, low weight and resistance to regular weather exposure.
