The Moto Torque Himalayan 450 Saddle Stay is specifically developed for the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and provides a dedicated support structure for riders using saddlebags during touring and adventure journeys. The stay is manufactured from rigid 19 mm cold-rolled mild-steel tubing with a 1.6 mm wall thickness, providing a combination of strength and manageable construction weight. Cold-rolled tubing is used for durability and resistance to abrasion-related impacts encountered during regular motorcycle use. Critical structural sections are connected using MIG and TIG welding techniques, while automated CNC machinery is used to bend the tubes accurately and achieve the required bike-specific formation. The metal surface undergoes grit blasting before powder coating to create a uniform finished surface. An important feature of the design is its removable lower stays, which support the weight of the saddlebags. Riders can install or remove these lower sections according to their luggage requirements. Moto Torque designed the structure to support compatible saddlebags without adversely affecting the motorcycle's balance while carrying luggage. Stainless Steel 304 nuts and bolts are used for secure installation on the Himalayan 450.
