MADDOG Scout LED Motorcycle Auxiliary Light Pair

The MADDOG Scout is a compact auxiliary motorcycle lighting solution designed around a wide flood-beam pattern. It uses Nichia LEDs and produces a manufacturer-rated 2,800 lumens per pair while consuming 20 watts per pair, or approximately 10 watts for each light. Unlike auxiliary lights designed around a concentrated spot beam, the Scout uses 100% flood optics, providing a broader lighting pattern with a manufacturer-stated beam distance of up to 100 metres. The colour temperature ranges from 5000K to 5700K, producing a neutral-to-cool white light. MADDOG specifies an operating voltage of DC 12V to 14.5V and current consumption of approximately 2A per pair. The lights carry an IP67 water- and dust-protection rating and have a stated LED lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. The standard Scout package includes two lights, two basic stainless-steel clamps, a screw kit and tail connectors. As this is a universal motorcycle auxiliary-light application, installation depends on the motorcycle's mounting location and electrical arrangement.
