K&N KT-1217 High-Flow Replacement Motorcycle Air Filter

The K&N KT-1217 High-Flow Replacement Motorcycle Air Filter is designed for riders looking to replace the standard disposable filter with a washable and reusable performance-oriented alternative. K&N uses multiple layers of premium cotton-gauze media treated with filter oil to capture dirt and contaminants while maintaining increased airflow to the engine. The application-specific panel design fits directly into the factory airbox of compatible motorcycles and normally requires no permanent modification to a stock machine. Increased airflow can help improve throttle response, acceleration and overall engine performance while maintaining effective filtration. Unlike conventional disposable paper filters, the KT-1217 can be periodically cleaned, re-oiled and returned to service, making it suitable for long-term motorcycle use. The filter measures 149 mm long, 109 mm wide and 34 mm high and weighs approximately 0.3 kg.
