FuelX Pro+ KTM Adventure 390 S/X Fuel Optimizer

The FuelX Pro+ for KTM Adventure 390 S/X is a bike-specific electronic fuel optimizer designed to improve engine refinement, throttle response and part-throttle performance. Unlike a conventional fixed fueling device, FuelX continuously monitors and adapts fueling according to engine condition, riding style, motorcycle modifications and environmental factors including temperature, humidity and altitude. The Pro+ version provides 10 selectable autotune maps, giving riders control over the level of fuel enrichment. A supplied handlebar map switch makes it possible to select the preferred map conveniently without accessing the main module. PowerTRONIC states that FuelX Pro+ can help reduce low-speed jerkiness and stalling, reduce unnecessary downshifts and improve throttle response. The manufacturer also claims improvements of up to 25% in part-throttle horsepower and torque, although real-world results can vary according to the motorcycle, modifications and operating conditions. The system is designed to adapt when compatible aftermarket components such as performance air filters or exhaust systems are fitted. Installation is plug-and-play using the bike-specific O2/lambda sensor harness, without requiring conventional ECU remapping. The FuelX Pro+ module, wiring harness and handlebar switch are designed to withstand the heat, water exposure and vibration associated with motorcycle use.
