BMC Race Air Filter for Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

The BMC FM599/04RACE is a washable and reusable Race panel engine air filter developed specifically for compatible Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R motorcycles. BMC officially confirms fitment for the Ninja ZX-10R 1000 and 30th Anniversary Edition from 2011 through 2015. This is the Race version rather than the standard FM599/04 filter, making the distinction important when selecting the correct BMC product. BMC describes its Race motorcycle filters as performance-oriented filters intended for street and track applications. The FM599/04RACE installs inside the motorcycle's original airbox as a replacement for the compatible factory filtration element. Its filtration media uses multiple layers of cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil and protected by epoxy-coated alloy mesh. BMC's Full Moulding manufacturing system creates the filter structure from a single mould without welded joints. The filter is supplied pre-oiled and can be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit for continued reuse. BMC states that its replacement-filter technology combines increased airflow with efficient filtration and can retain impurities from as small as 7 microns. The panel filter measures 182 mm in outside width and 246 mm in outside length and is specifically designed for the 2011–2015 ZX-10R application.
