BMC FM716/20 Air Filter for Ducati Panigale

The BMC FM716/20 is a reusable high-performance motorcycle air filter designed to replace the original airbox filter on a wide range of compatible Ducati motorcycles. BMC manufactures the filter using multiple layers of cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh. This filtration structure is designed to increase airflow while efficiently capturing contaminants, with BMC stating that its filter technology can contain impurities as small as 7 microns. The FM716/20 uses BMC's Full Moulding manufacturing system, producing the characteristic red filter structure from a single mould without welded joints that could become potential weak points. Durable rubber provides long service life and effective adhesion to different airbox shapes. The filter is supplied pre-oiled and ready for installation. It is also washable and can be regenerated using the appropriate BMC cleaning and re-oiling products, allowing repeated use after proper maintenance. Official applications include Ducati Panigale 899, 959, 1199, 1299 and 955 V2 families, together with selected Diavel, Multistrada, Streetfighter, XDiavel and Scrambler motorcycles. The filter measures 184 mm long by 174 mm wide, while BMC lists a packaged gross weight of 0.32 kg.
