BMC Air Filter for Triumph Tiger 800

The BMC FM632/04 is a washable and reusable panel engine air filter designed for compatible Triumph Tiger 800 motorcycles. BMC officially lists applications covering the Tiger 800, XC, XCX, XCA, XR, XRX, XRT, XCSE and Tramontana variants. It installs inside the motorcycle's original airbox as a replacement for the compatible factory air filter, retaining the standard intake configuration. The filtration element uses multi-layer cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil and protected by epoxy-coated alloy mesh. BMC's Full Moulding manufacturing system forms the characteristic filter structure from a single mould without welded joints. The rubber construction is designed for durability and effective adhesion to different airbox shapes. FM632/04 is supplied pre-oiled and can be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit, allowing it to be serviced and reused. BMC states that its replacement-filter technology provides increased airflow combined with efficient filtration and can retain impurities from as small as 7 microns. The FM632/04 is classified as a panel filter and has a manufacturer-specified outside width of 155 mm and outside length of 240 mm. It provides a serviceable replacement while retaining the compatible Triumph Tiger 800's original airbox arrangement.
