BMC Air Filter for Triumph Tiger 660 Sport

The BMC FM01124 is a washable and reusable panel engine air filter designed for compatible Triumph 660 motorcycles. BMC officially lists the Tiger 660 Sport Euro5+ from 2022 onward and the Trident 660 Euro5+ from 2021 onward, making the filter suitable for both applications according to the manufacturer's current compatibility information. It installs inside the motorcycle's original airbox as a replacement for the compatible factory air filter, retaining the standard intake configuration. BMC replacement filters use multi-layer cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil and supported by epoxy-coated alloy mesh. This construction protects the filtration media while allowing the filter to provide the airflow and filtration characteristics specified by BMC. The Full Moulding manufacturing process creates the characteristic filter structure without welded joints. BMC states that its cotton replacement filters provide increased airflow while retaining impurities from as small as 7 microns. The filter is washable, reusable and supplied pre-oiled, allowing it to be cleaned and regenerated using the appropriate BMC maintenance products. FM01124 is classified as a panel filter and has manufacturer-specified actual dimensions of 102 mm by 160 mm. It provides a serviceable replacement while retaining the compatible Triumph motorcycle's original airbox arrangement.
