BMC Air Filter for Triumph Daytona 675

The BMC FM718/04 is a washable and reusable panel engine air filter designed for compatible Triumph motorcycles. BMC officially lists the filter for the Triumph Daytona 675 / R and Street Triple 675 / R / RX. It installs inside the motorcycle's original airbox as a replacement for the compatible factory air filter, retaining the standard intake configuration. The filtration element uses multi-layer cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil and protected by epoxy-coated alloy mesh. BMC's Full Moulding production process creates the characteristic filter structure from a single mould without welded joints. The rubber used in BMC filtration systems is designed for durability and effective adhesion to different airbox shapes. The FM718/04 is supplied pre-oiled and can be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit, allowing the filter to be serviced and reused. BMC states that its replacement-filter technology provides increased airflow while maintaining efficient filtration and retaining impurities from as small as 7 microns. The FM718/04 is classified as a panel filter and has a verified outside width of 122 mm and outside length of 246 mm.
