BMC Air Filter for Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa

The BMC FM529/04 is a washable and reusable panel engine air filter designed for the Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 / GSX R / Z from 2008 through 2020. It is designed to install inside the motorcycle's original airbox as a replacement for the compatible factory air filter, retaining the standard intake arrangement. BMC constructs the filtration element using multi-layer cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil and protected by epoxy-coated alloy mesh. Its Full Moulding production system forms the characteristic filter structure from a single mould without welded joints, while the durable rubber structure is designed to provide effective adhesion to different airbox shapes. The FM529/04 is supplied pre-oiled and ready for installation. It can subsequently be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit, allowing the filter to be serviced and reused. BMC states that its replacement-filter technology combines increased airflow with efficient filtration and is designed to retain impurities from as small as 7 microns. The FM529/04 is classified as a panel filter and has a verified outside width of 181 mm and outside length of 229 mm. It is a motorcycle-specific replacement intended for the compatible Suzuki Hayabusa generation.
