BMC Air Filter for KTM 890 Adventure

The BMC FM796/20 is a reusable panel engine air filter designed to replace the original air filter in compatible KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles. For the inventory application, BMC officially lists the KTM 890 Adventure, 890 Adventure R, 890 Adventure L and 890 Adventure R Rally from 2021 onward. The same filter is also officially compatible with several KTM Adventure, Super Adventure, Super Duke and SMT models, as well as the listed Husqvarna Vitpilen application. BMC constructs the filtration element from multi-layer cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil and protected by epoxy-coated alloy mesh. Its Full Moulding production system creates the filter structure from a single mould without welded joints. The filter is supplied pre-oiled and is designed to be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit, allowing continued reuse after servicing. BMC states that its replacement-filter technology provides increased airflow together with efficient filtration and can retain impurities down to 7 microns. The FM796/20 is designed for installation inside the motorcycle's original airbox and has a verified outside width of 140 mm and outside length of 186 mm.
