BMC Air Filter for Kawasaki Ninja 400

The BMC FM01010/04 is a washable and reusable panel engine air filter designed for compatible Kawasaki motorcycles, including the Ninja 400, KRT Edition, Performance, SE and Sport variants. BMC's current compatibility information also lists applications including the Ninja 250, Eliminator 500, Z 500, KLE 500, Ninja 500, Ninja 7 Hybrid 450, Ninja ZX-25R, Ninja ZX-4R, Z 400 and Z 7 Hybrid 450 families. The filter installs inside the motorcycle's original airbox as a replacement for the compatible factory air filter, retaining the standard intake arrangement. Its filtration element uses multi-layer cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil and protected by epoxy-coated alloy mesh. BMC's Full Moulding manufacturing process creates the characteristic filter structure from a single mould without welded joints. The filter is supplied pre-oiled and can be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit for continued reuse. BMC states that its replacement-filter technology provides increased airflow combined with efficient filtration and is designed to retain impurities from as small as 7 microns. The FM01010/04 is a panel filter with an actual outside width of 152 mm and outside length of 243 mm.
