BMC Air Filter for BMW R 1250 GS

The BMC FM764/20 is a washable and reusable panel engine air filter designed for compatible BMW boxer motorcycles. For the primary inventory application, BMC officially confirms the BMW R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure Euro5 from 2019 through 2024. The same filter is also officially listed for selected BMW R 1200 GS, R 1200 R, R 1200 RS, R 1200 RT and R 1250 R, RS and RT models. It installs inside the motorcycle's original airbox as a replacement for the compatible factory filter, retaining the standard intake arrangement. BMC constructs the filtration element from multi-layer cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil and protected by epoxy-coated alloy mesh. Its Full Moulding manufacturing system forms the characteristic filter structure from a single mould without welded joints. The FM764/20 is supplied pre-oiled and can be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit, allowing continued reuse after servicing. BMC states that its replacement-filter technology combines increased airflow with efficient filtration and can retain impurities from as small as 7 microns. The panel filter has an actual outside width of 115 mm and outside length of 174 mm and is designed to retain installation within the compatible BMW motorcycle's original airbox.
