The system uses a two-point mounting arrangement, securing the backbone at the handlebar end and again just inside the motorcycle controls. The mounting system can be used as the structural protection component by itself or combined with compatible Barkbusters guard plastics for additional hand and weather coverage. Compatible options include Barkbusters VPS, JET, STORM and CARBON guards, allowing riders to choose the guard style and coverage suited to their riding requirements. The guards are not supplied with this mounting kit and must be purchased separately. Motorcycle-specific mounting materials and installation instructions are included.
