Barkbusters Handguard Mount BMW G 310 GS / G 310 R

The Barkbusters Handguard Mount for BMW G 310 GS and BMW G 310 R is a motorcycle-specific two-point mounting system designed to provide a strong foundation for compatible Barkbusters hand guards. Official Barkbusters fitment covers the BMW G 310 GS from 2017 onward and BMW G 310 R from 2016 onward. The system uses full-wrap heat-treated aluminium backbones engineered for strength and impact protection around the motorcycle's lever and control area. Each backbone is secured at two locations: the handlebar end and an inner handlebar clamp. The installation retains the motorcycle's original BMW bar-end weights and uses dedicated left and right mounting arrangements. On the right side, Barkbusters specifies different clamp positioning for the G 310 R and G 310 GS to accommodate the motorcycle's cables and handlebar layout correctly. Once installed, the backbone should sit horizontally when viewed from the side before the mounting hardware is tightened to the specified torque. This package is the structural hardware system and does not include plastic hand guards. Compatible Barkbusters JET, VPS, STORM or CARBON guards can be purchased separately, allowing riders to select the coverage and styling that best suits their motorcycle and riding requirements.
